Hotmail email is now providing free POP3/SMTP access. Hotmail users can now access their email using standard email clients such as Microsoft Outlook or Apple Mail.

Hotmail Email Incoming Server Settings (POP3)
Host: pop3.live.com
Port: 995 (SSL enabled)
User: (your hotmail email address)

Hotmail Email Outgoing Server Settings (SMTP)
Host: smtp.live.com
Port: 25 or 587 (SSL enabled)
User: (your hotmail email address)
